I was trying to find out the time that the Senator's speech will occur. I found nothing at the Legion website (www.legion.org), nor at the Kerry site, nor at CSPAN. When will the speech be given?
Anyway, here is a thread for people to post their comments.
did "W" have crowd scans, or people sitting behind him.? etc.
Don't know how many in room, but it sounds like 23 people clapping.

If there's 700 people, I'd say about 10 percent are applauding and it the applause if very few and far between.
It's so quiet and dark it's eerie.
Every once in a while very weak applause but this is nothing---nothing at all---like GWB's uplifting and upbeat appearance that was met with good humor and affection.
