And FWIW, I think a series of finely-calibrated-apologies-as-needed is just gonna tick people off even more. And rightfully so.

Subject: Kerry and the Swift Boat Veteran's Offer

If Kerry makes the admissions required by the letter from
the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, he is admitting to being a
complete fraud. And, for what it's worth, such a series of
admissions would also disgrace the media for enabling the fraud.

He's not able to pull off a "non-apology apology," like
"I'm sorry if anybody was hurt by my 1971 comments," hinting
the comments were true. That would only further anger the
veterans. They were denied what all decent soldiers and
sailors deserve; an honorable homecoming and being able to get
on with normal lives. And the public was bamboozled into being
the agent of hurt by his false testimony before the Senate.

Odds in Vegas are 7-1 against apology. The bookies could
get no money on the "will apologize" side at 5-1.

Oh goodie... means he's toast. I guess he should retire to his mansion for the rest of the campaign. At the end of the day, he's going to receive more or less the same number of votes. Why bother? He could certainly use an extended vacation.

Great e-mail!

Kerry's either a traitorous perjurer or a war criminal. What a choice. Real CinC material there all right (/sarcasm)
