Speaking of the international media, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is so blatantly anti-American, they don't hide it. Just tonight, I was listening to a radio program on CBC Radio 1 (AM dial) called "Ideas" and the subject was National Security, where they were talking about the Patriot Act, and illicting expert opinions from leading scholars at major Universities in Canada. For the entire hour, they were totally off the mark with their facts. Listening to CBC is like listening to the mouthpiece of the Democratic party.

"ABC Sucks, CBS Sucks, CNN Sucks, NBC Sucks, Fox really sucks."

Oh, dear.

Not quite the Algonquin Round Table, is it...? :)

"Bill O'Reilly, shut up!"

"There is no deep analysis of any news anymore. It is not balanced, there is no debate. Bill O'Reilly tells everyone to shut up. How is there a debate if he is telling his guests, people he invited to his show, to shut up?"

The irony is too much. Deep thinkers...

Protester Cameron Peterson told CNSNews.com that people who listen to Fox News "have a twisted view of the world."

That line would have been a little more effective if the people saying it didn't look like this.

"[Fox News viewers] think we found the weapons of mass destruction, think we found many things that they would like us to believe they haven't found," Peterson said.

Obviously a student of the Kerry School of Contradiction, which has one-sentence reversals down to an art form.

I think [Fox News] keeps a lot of people ignorant

It's very important to realize that, until 1994, the Left believed that they were winning (which they had a lot of reason for), but, more importantly, also believed that their coming victory was both predetermined and historically inevitable.

All of these vulgar Marxists who besiege our economy, government, and culture are "scientific" socialists. They believe in a thing called "progress", not as the normal English noun but as an actual physical force which is unidirectional and unstoppable. In American political terms, they are subscribers to the Brezhnev doctrine ("The armies of socialism only march in one direction").

Reagan's election in 1980 did nothing to dislodge their forward movement through the schools, the culture, or the courts.

However, since 1994, what TASS used to refer to as the "correlation of forces" has been subtly changing. WE see the softness on our side, and worry. THEY see the truth, that the foundation on which they have been building since 1932 is being dismantled, brick by brick, and that our leader has the political skill and the political will (and the lack of principle) necessary to assemble a majority coalition that does NOT follow the Leftist mirage of "progress" and that will in fact threaten their fondest victories, washing them away like the GDR.

Don't ever puzzle over the fact that they are angry. To me, the real question is, will they fight?

Did I hear anyone say anything about the First Amendment or freedom of the press?

If they weren't so pathetic, I'd actually CARE what they thought. Don't any of them have lives?

Those twits are against free speech, wanting to silence such voices as Fox and conservatives. That's all the prima facie evidence we really need.

Just like sKerry, they would use governmental power to shut down presses, intimidate honest citizens, and nullify their opposition.

Such people have identified themselves as opponents to our Constitution.

Someone should inform the loony Lefty wackos Rupert Murdoch was a contributor to Algore in 2000. That will shut them up.

E.D. Hill mentioned it this morning. She joked that there were lawyers, who professed to be representing "free speech", chanting "Shut up FOX".

She noted that when someone went out to interview the crowd, one of the protesters, when asked what they were protesting, said "I don't know yet. I haven't been briefed!"

"Riga said she has found a way to get unbiased news by bypassing the American media. "I listen to the international media now. I no longer listen to any news local news," Riga said."

Ok...hehehe... no bias there ;)

Asked to explain why Fox News Channel is the highest rated cable news network, Peterson responded, "I think it's their scandalization of everything. If you make everything seem like a scandal, a huge deal when it is not, then you frighten people into listening to you."

A Mooresque argument... except that Moore and them are at the top of scandalizing and blood libeling people right now.
