Jane Fonda poses for the press after a trip to Hanoi. She is sporting a necklace given to her by the North Vietnamese. The necklace was made from the melted parts of a U.S. B-52 shot down by Hanoi. While in North Vietnam, Fonda made radio broadcasts and propaganda films designed to break the moral of U.S. troops fighting in Vietnam.

There's story about her that the <50YO crowd might not know. She was pictured standing on a dyke which she was complaing was being bombed by our aircraft and causing flooding. She made a big production about it to the world press and the story made headlines.
The missing part of the story is that 20 or 30 feet away from where she was standing on the dyke were AA guns mounted on the dyke. We were boimbing the guns, not the dykes, but that is not how the press played it.
She is a vile person. She should have been arrested for treason upon returning to the US.
