SUSPECT ARRESTED IN VICIOUS ATTACK ON COP

A suspect was arrested last night in the vicious beating of a cop at a protest Monday, a law-enforcement source said.

Jamal Holiday of Manhattan, who turns 20 today, will likely be spending his birthday in jail for assaulting Detective William Sample Jr., according to the source.

Sample, meanwhile, was on the mend at home.

The 10-year veteran who usually investigates taxi-business crimes, was badly bruised and suffered internal injuries in the attack that Mayor Bloomberg called "outrageous."

I've been harassed at these things a few times, and always by some WHITE guy.

Which is not surprising, because as a rule the protest attendees are overwhelmingly WHITE.

I'm talking about the more global/universal images of violence perpetrated on people of any color, whether seen on "Cops", news video of riots and looting, those gatherings that include "targets of opportunity" and such. The overwhelming composition of "bad actors" are young men of color. And the pretend manners and citizenship they can assume at the flick of a switch, that is such bull s***, so obviously betrayed by their actions just moments before, caught for all to see on video,when the bad guys thought no one was paying attention.

ME TOO! I can't believe that the cop that moves the bad guy away, missed seeing the kicks he just delivered. Maybe his sight was blocked, or he didn't know a cop was down, receiving those blows. In any event, I bet the cop is relieved he was caught, cause the cop actually TOUCHES the bad guy (now all polite and "yes sir") as the cop moves in to assist.
