Bush' 10 point lead disappeared in the matter of 2 hours. I see it as profit taking and the low low price of Kerry Stock
There's no corresponding change at Tradesports.com, so I think my theory is right.
Let's just hope that it wasn't because of the godawful Bush Twins speech, with traders thinking that anybody who'd allow that stinker of a speech up there doesn't know what they're doing.

I knew it wouldn't before long for someone pulled that BS out. That's kind of like Michale Moore saying "would you send your sond to die in Fallujah"

Actually you seem old - expecting 23 year olds to act like "kids". I expect more and fortunately see more than that every day. Pity that you attach cool to throwing out lame pop-culture references.

What if the Kerry and the Bush Stock data was mixed up?
This doesn't look like an election, it looks like an acquisition. Like Bush is buying Kerry, doesn't make sense.

I guess that's the whole point: if they weren't ready for it, perhaps they
shouldn't have been up there in the first place, on live television, in front of millions of people. Yes, public speaking is difficult; I know, I speak to large groups almost every day.
It is no big deal. They were lousy. The world moves on. President Bush will still win the election. Don't get yourself so exercised over a little criticism.

I'm much older than you, and I'm relaxed about the Bush twins.
I'd advise you do the same.

Well then if it'll make you feel better we have the 23 going on 14 vote. I'll take that over a dog any day.

First convention I watched was 88. I saw Clinton's horrible psycho babble keynote address, and Ann Richard's famous silver spoon sass that came back to haunt her.

Wrong - 23 year olds are not kids. The comparison was made to our brave soldiers doing more than lamely trying to sound hip bacuse they watch a sluttly show or go to OutKast concerts.
To: sinkspur
Absolutely. This was meant to be corny. Didn't you see how embarrassed they were at times? Jenna kept looking over her shoulders at the giant screen behind her.
This was the family values part of the show. They wanted to show a regular family just like you and me vicariously through their children. The choice is hoity-toity, or corny.

Uh, they're older than many of our fighting men and women. Are they "just kids" too? I assume you are talking about emotional/spiritual/intellectual maturity, in which case you're right, the Bush twins are clearly just kids. Spoiled kids. Kinda like Kerry saying to Tim Russert that at age 27 he was just a "kid" for protesting the war in front of Congress?
Tell me, which was more damaging to our troops? The Bush twins or Kerry? Thought so.

The "incredible volume" you speak of is $2300.
This market has no volume. Trading in this is like trading in a thinly traded penny stock - even a small buy or sell can move the chart.
It seems like you're trying to whip up hysteria both on meaningless movements up and the meaningless movements down.

How deep is this "market"? Are the stats on volume and contract size available? How is a trade actually conducted and administered?
Is it possible that just a few trades can move the market?

What if the Kerry and the Bush Stock data was mixed up? Something does seem odd about the Iowa Electronic Markets numbers. Additionally I've been trying to access the TradeSport.com sight all evening with no luck.

Funny - I feel relaxed but others have to throw insults. Some people here cannot abide any criticism of anything to do with President Bush. The girls act was lame and embarassing to many, deal with it. It's a common opinion, if you want to go after everyone holding it fine. Doesn't make them any more mature or funny.
To: Choose Ye This Day
Don't get yourself so exercised over a little criticism. Nope not "exercised" I said embarrassed. I thought FR had a bit more heft than to get bent out of shape over something this trivial.

They are highly accurate and the volume was a record high, regardless of market depth.
