Bush' 10 point lead disappeared in the matter of 2 hours. I see it as profit taking and the low low price of Kerry Stock
There's no corresponding change at Tradesports.com, so I think my theory is right.
Let's just hope that it wasn't because of the godawful Bush Twins speech, with traders thinking that anybody who'd allow that stinker of a speech up there doesn't know what they're doing.

The mono-bono comment made me want to vomit.

SARCASM!!!
It was profit-taking, plain and simple. If you look at the volume, there were spikes during both conventions. People are trying to sell at the peak, just like they shorted Kerry after the convention.

Yeah, but I was FIRST! >:o)

I mean, they're cute, sure, but...vapid! There are innumerable examples of female celebrities fitting that description whom enjoy far more popularity than W or Kerry.

They're just kids
Uh, they're older than many of our fighting men and women. Are they "just kids" too? I assume you are talking about emotional/spiritual/intellectual maturity, in which case you're right, the Bush twins are clearly just kids. Spoiled kids.

"godawful Bush twins speech"
Give me an f'n break. That is an irrelevant twenty minutes at the RNC. That would not have any effect on the campaign much less a 10 point swing. Even if you don't like the girls' sensibilities don't blow things out of proportion.
Geez!

25 years old It's no wonder you don't appreciate it.
And what's this " worst performance I have seen at a scripted convention in a long time" crap?
You're 25. How many conventions are you conscious of? Two, maybe?

I'm sorry. I was just annoyed at all the moaning sky-is-falling stuff from the folks who seem to forget that the intelligent comments from the Kerry daughters had one effect--to make Kerry a laughing stock for the "hamster" comments.
I think Bush's daughters did an awful job. I also think I don't really give a damn because they've gotten awfully cute. (He sys for the sixth time tonight, still looking for a helpful url to some recent photos...)

I think they got their positives and negatives screwed up. Happens all the time, or maybe some nimrod accidental got the data mixed up.
I just can't see this as being a realistic chart of what is going on right now.

Our stock in the "Congressional Control" market is literally shooting through the roof however.

Seems everyone bounced back OK from Patti posing in Playboy....I'd recommend getting over it.
If the only thing you're going to take from the night is the twins then I'd say feel free to kick a puppy while you're at it...

I can't believe what I am reading. For crying out loud you have two young women who give the first speech of their lives in front of 10 million people using words written by someone else and there are supposed adults on this forum that, it would be safe to say, have never spoken in front of more than 10 people in their lives hyperventilating over NOTHING!. Fire the speech writer and forget it. For there to be this level of navel gazing is embarrassing. In fact it is far more embarrasing than anything these girls did or did not do.

-- Have you seen it before at IEM? After all, Kerry_Stock volume was incredibly high today.

Relax. You're already an old man, with those views.

Anybody on this forum who thinks the Bush twins adversely affected anything is seriously anal.I agree, a most ridiculous assumption.
The kids did fine, (except for the grandma joke):-)

Don't you ever have anything positive to say? Oh yeah, that's right. According to you, the SBVT will hurt Bush and cause him to lose the election.

Only thing? No. But the fact remains they are 23 going on 14. As for the puppy, I'd have much preferred Barney up there.
To: Texasforever
They have an excuse now if Bush loses, it's the girls fault.
