Anyone else have a nagging feeling there's still some more cards to be played by Hillary's faction of the party before this is all over? Personally, I don't think she's willing to wait even 4 more years to worm her way back into the WH. No, she could never win as a prime candidate but could be a VP choice to "save the party & the children" in the event of an induced Kerry exit in disgrace.....it sounds ludicrous but not totally out of the question.

No...But I DO think she wants to make sure Kerry loses so she does have a free shot at 2008. If she tried to "save the party" this year, she knows NYers would get in her face because of her promise to serve out her senate term. Not that something like that didn't stop Bill in Arkansas.
Hitlery stated to the SSM (Socialist Stream Media) that she believed the outcome of this election would hinge on an "October Suprise".
So I think the best is yet to come.

I've had this bet with FReeper Ironclad for OVER a YEAR, $100 that Hillary ends up on the ballot Nov 2. I've also picked Wednesday, September 29th at 11:30am EST as the go time. Here is the calendar of events that will allow the "transition:"
1) This week, RNC convention and very Presidential speech net Bush a 10 point lead in some polls.
2) Sep 5-15. Kerry continues to flip-flop, and get caught in more lies about his Vietnam "service."
3) Sep 15-28. Media covers Kerry implosion 24/7. Dems panic, launch "Torricelli Switch" trial balloon.
4) Sep 28. Kerry, under pressure from every side, drops out for X reason. (X = health, family, ?whatever dumb thing Kerry thinks of?)
5) Sep 29. Hillary "drafted" by Dems, makes droaning "Ya know" speech. Liberal media go nuts, 24/7 Hillary love fest begins.
6) Month of Oct. Hillary gets clobbered by Bush in debates - liberal media still oozes over her "Strong performances."
7) Nov 2. Hillary wins by narrow margin as liberal precincts around the country report record turnout - 150-200% in some cases.
Be afraid, be VERY afraid.
Funny thing, if she surmises that she will be thrown against McCain and Lib Dole it might galvanize her into action but I am not sure she could win this late in the game.
Certainly Kerry will lose big but it is the coattails that concern me.
I've been thinking all along that the Lautenberg - Toricelli switcheroo was a trial balloon for the Clintons to plan Hillary's presidential run...they know she can't survive a primary or prolonged campaign where people actually look into what she has done etc....but by getting away with it in NJ, they establish a precedent and can go to the courts and be successful in skirting election laws....forcing Kerry to withdraw due to this or another scandal (what exactly was in those FBI files, Hillary?) and it's Hillary to the democrats rescue just in time to save the Nation, neigh, the Universe!!!
You are right Hillary can not wait 8 years for sure, and I think she knows she will be toast in 4 years, also....so I keep saying the Clinton's and their goons are behind most of the dirt being brought up and surrounding Kerry....he may well be a victim of sabatoge - if not Arkacide!
