Potential scandal regarding Kerry's Silver Star
judicial watch ^

Posted on 08/31/2004 1:27:02 PM PDT by slowhand520

Just listening to the Bob Grant show and Carl Limbacher from Newsmax was on and he just said there is an investigation underway with the US NAVY that Kerry might have tampered with his Silver Star citation. He also said Kerry will be forced to release all records.

No, I think you misquoted Kerry. He said "Bring them ONE." He was referring to another of those Philly Cheesesteak hogies!

He had his typewriter with him and his moviecamera you know...

He left clothes so he could have those two items, I am sure he had a plan to use them...

Actually, JW filed a complaint against Rumsfield's oil meetings that made him release some information about who/what they met about.

A couple of libs that I trade jabs with, email me info on this quite often.

I was interested until I saw that JW was involved and just shook my head and said, "well there goes another good idea down the tubes." As far as I know the only thing JW does well is collect money.

Granted that JFKs military record does need offical investigation, that does not mean it will happen. However, just the thought of it could rattle the cage some more. No way to guess the direction or outcome on this one.

Hitlery stated to the SSM (Socialist Stream Media) that she believed the outcome of this election would hinge on an "October Suprise".

So I think the best is yet to come.

Except for one thing, I believe that Hitlery wants to run now!

Geez. I hope to hear this from a legitimate news source.

Don't worry. Judicial Watch will file for the release of all his records and demand he provide a deposition.

The silver star story with the Navy has been out

Please produce some documentation. I've heard rumors, which is how I would categorize this thread.

I have a feeling that this is a rehash of a story I posted this weekend that is still valid and has legs.

We have a ton of documentation on this thread and ask that people with new info to patch a link on this thread to their new thread or via a reply.

Kerry citation a 'total mystery' to ex-Navy chief

August 28, 2004

BY THOMAS LIPSCOMB

Former Navy Secretary John Lehman has no idea where a Silver Star citation displayed on Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry's campaign Web site came from, he said Friday. The citation appears over Lehman's signature.

"It is a total mystery to me. I never saw it. I never signed it. I never approved it. And the additional language it contains was not written by me," he said.

The additional language varied from the two previous citations, signed first by Adm. Elmo Zumwalt and then Adm. John Hyland, which themselves differ. The new material added in the Lehman citation reads in part: "By his brave actions, bold initiative, and unwavering devotion to duty, Lieutenant (jg) Kerry reflected great credit upon himself...."

Asked how the citation could have been executed over his signature without his knowledge, Lehman said: "I have no idea. I can only imagine they were signed by an autopen." The autopen is a device often used in the routine execution of executive documents in government.

Kerry senior adviser Michael Meehan could not be reached for comment on Kerry's records.
