NEW YORK - Out on the street with protesters, there are environmentalists, pacifists, even some capitalists - selling anti-Bush T-shirts, of course.
But to Republicans here, the great unwashed sweating in and blocking the streets, are defined in one word: Democrats.
``Frankly it reminds me of why I left the Democratic Party,'' said former Bush spokesman Ari Fleischer. ``I used to be a Democrat and I turned instead to Ronald Reagan's upbeat optimism instead of the negativity and the liberalism and the protest movement of the Democratic Party. It wasn't my cup of tea.''
Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie has continuously referred to the protesters as Democrats, saying if they are anti-Bush they must be Democrats.
Of course, Democrats deny they're behind the protests or rallies.
``Republicans for political reasons, for political tactics, were going to try and foist that storyline to the press and to the public, but that dog just won't hunt,'' said Democratic National Committee spokesman Jano Cabrera.
``We don't have any problem with anyone exercising their constitutional right. But we do not want these protesters to serve as a disruption to the Republican National Convention,'' Cabrera said.
The suggestion doesn't exactly sit well with protesters either, many of whom protested John Kerry's convention in Boston, back independent Ralph Nader or just hate all of the above.
Not to mention they are still sore after the '00 elction.

I'll predict a 6 pt win with the popular vote and a large electoral victory.
Kerry's campaign was imploding weeks ago.
That's why the RUCKUS trained activist is heading the internet communications for the Kerry campaign, because they aren't Democrats. Right, they had better come up with a better story than that.

The Dems are trying to sanitize these protests, just like they sanitized their convention in Boston.

I read a few minutes ago that Moore will not return to Madison Square Garden for the remainder of the convention. But he will continue to dispel drivel to the USA today.
And whats happenned with the beast? wasnt she supposed to be running around as part of some truth squad? maybe she can gather up Moore and the Rev Al and re-invent the old Mod-Squad.
They are the face of the DemocRATic Party. This is the enemy we are fighting in this campaign and which we will be fighting for many years until they can finally be crushed. It is a two front war, at home and abroad.

Of course it will "hunt" .. ALL THESE PROTESTORS are supported by the groups the Heinz Foundations support. Along with George Soros .. who supports all democrats. To have the wife of a candidate actively supporting VIOLENT, RUDE, ARROGANT, DISRESPECTFUL people .. is just beyond the pale.
Tell the "shove it" person to GET LOST!! Vote for George Bush on election day.
Of course, all the protestors are just a bunch of life-long Republicans who are "deeply concerned" about the party's shift to the right, don'cha know?
