I got to hear it on my way to work today...I was so glad Bush started early...otherwise I would have missed it. He sounded so excited to be on the show.

President Bush stayed on message when Rush Limbaugh asked about his "win the war on terror" comment. He stated that the "long term solution is to liberate" the oppressed countries. He spoke of the "transformational power of freedom". These are main tenets of his Liberty Doctrine, which are fleshed out here:
President Bush Delivers Graduation Speech at West Point as well as
The National Security Strategy of the United States of America. President Bush is serious in stating that the solution to terrorism is to create a better atmosphere for freedom and liberty for all in the world.

You talked about Social Security reform -- and after you were elected and inaugurated, you set out to proceed to do those things, and I remember reading that the Democrats were surprised that you were actually doing what you said you were gonna do. This is what I love about President Bush. He has a program and once in office he tries his level best to, well, execute it.
As far as I can tell, Kerry promises to give us all free healthcare and jackets and all that sort of stuff, but if he was so unfortunate to become President, he'd forget all that and do whatever he felt like doing.
We don't really have a clue as to what that is.

John Kerry looked at the same intelligence I saw and saw a threat and voted for the authorization of force.RUSH: Before he voted against it?
THE PRESIDENT: Pardon me?
RUSH: Before he voted against it?
THE PRESIDENT: (Laughing.) Well, that was -- you're talking about the actually funding of troops.
Is Bush not aware that we refer to Kerry as Flip-Flop Kerry? Or that "he voted before it before he voted against it" is sort of a standard joke with us? Too bad the President is not a FReeper. He could learn a lot.

then I'm going to go to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania Site "R", the formerly "undisclosed location" where Cheney was said to be, is very near Gettysburg. Hope that's not a bad omen. Communications should be good there to enable the President to participate "from afar"

I have several "issues" against our President. But I will still vote for him.
The reason being is that I cannot see myself voting for someone that will put us RAPIDLY in the tank. (JFinK)
I may not agree with all of Bush's policies, but at least if he is president it gives us time to change the things do not like.
Regardless of whether you completely support him or not, he is right now, the best choice we have for President of these United States.
