This is a rare case I have to disagree with you. I'm the same age as the twins. Kondracke was correct, they came across as ditzes. That did not play well at all.
A little jealousy, heh? You need to lighten up, son.
The twins are rookies as far as public speaking. Give them a break. I can't say I cared that much for the script they were given but they came across to me like most college grads that aren't that interested in the public spotlight.
The girls at my daughter's sorority loved them and thought they were cute. The guy's at my son's fraternity absolutely loved them. They could have said mush and the guys would have thought they were wonderful.
Truthfully, they came across as warm, loving kids!
I agree with you. I was very disappointed in the twins. I wanted them to appear classy like their Mom and respectful of their Father. It was not an appropriate venue for them to try to be funny. The election is serious business and they wasted prime time not furthering our cause whatsoever. They are not "kids". They are old enough to realize what is at stake in this election.
