The hooded guy was apparently part of a group that had handcuffed themselves to the barricades, wearing black hoods to show support for the Abu Graib prisoners.

You're right there were lots of folks with "Mission Unaccomplished" signs. But the guy who ran through the set definitely had a hood on.
From reading earlier in the day, supposedly some guy who had infiltrated the anarchists said that the 31st would be the day they would act. (the link was on drudge to the guys article).

Johnny Mathis is nearly 70 yrs. old. Only last week I bought a CD of his greatest hits. Oh it is heaven to hear.IIRC, until Pink Floyds "Dark Side Of The Moon", Johnny Mathis' "Greatest Hits" held the record for longest on the Billboard Top 100 chart.

Support of the Abu Graib? What morons. I just heard an interview on the Larry Elder show...an Assyrian catholic who went to Iraq to protest the war....and ended up changing his mind after talking to Iraqis. His own relative(cousin I think) was put into Abu for not having sex with a diplomat...she got 12 years. He said that the Iraqi people laughed at what the Americans did....saying that if "that was all the Americans could do....the prisoners would never talk". He also said the majority of citizens do not want the Americans to leave. They are afraid this will happen & they will be worse off.
He was there for a few months & spoke with hundreds of Iraqis.
