"The girls at my daughter's sorority loved them and thought they were cute."

I watched them with my jaw hanging open in confused disbelief. But my wife, who is much smarter than I am, told me they weren't even talking to an old dud like me. That's what Arnold and Rudi were for. Shake it like a Polaroid?!!?? I feel like I've got one foot in the grave. But in the final analysis, does anyone really believe people are voting for or against Kerry because of his wife or kids? Same is true for Bush.

I hope the dims have oxygen nearby. Kerry is definitely going to need it. All you have to do is listen to Mara on FNC to know what is up with the dims, tonight she said almost nothing.

Kerry campaign is making that glub glub sound.

I know that GeorgeWBUsh.com tries to set up parties in people's homes in communities to have interaction like this. I get emails on it all of the time.

Well, it's the worst loss the Yankees have ever taken in Yankee Stadium history....heheheh

Not just stadium history, it's the worst loss in the entire history of the Yankees! Steinbrenner was at the game tonight; he's gotta be steaming.

You bring up an excellent point. There are sports bars and they're usually packed. What we need is a political bar. A real, drive-there-in-your-car meatspace place to get together and either heckle or cheer stuff like this.
Actually, politics and religion are the classic bar "bad topics". LOL

I know the feeling! I was thinking the same thing about the griping contingent on here -- doom and gloomers have a tendency to irritate me and picking on young college grads having a good time -- give me a break!

I turned off the TV -- sleep much better not getting irritated. Think I better turn this thread off as well! :)

Actually both nights (I've switched between channels to see after speech coverage), Chris Matthews has been really fair. Last night he said Guiliani "filleted" Kerry.

Last night Andrea Mitchell looked like she ate a lemon, but she loved Laura's speech. She said it was designed to speak to the mothers of the country, like a woman talking over a cup of coffee to a friend, and make them feel that they were safe with her husband as President.

"Fred Barns and especially Bill Kristol are just annoying. I wish they'd have someone from National Review on their panel - Rich Lowry or Kathreen Jean Lopez perhaps."

Or even Tony Snow and I believe he's still on the payroll.

I couldn't believe when Arnold spoke highly about Nixon....must have made some liberal heads explode.

They haven't been faxed their "talking points" to respond to "girlie men." Few hamsters going wild over at the dnc tonight to get that put together.

Interesting. I'll check that URL out - it would so rock to drag a RAT in off the street, tie it down, and make it listen to the commentary here at home tonight. ;)
