This is the thread for Day Two of the RNC Convention.
Gosh. I was so pleasantly suprised with McCain, then Rudy was so passionate.... and then the pure emotion of the 911 widows. I think tonight will be completely different .... but I hope really good. I'm thinking Arnold will be coming up with a sound-bite one-liner. Laura is always pure class.
Well, There goes my idea that NYC would put GWB over the top....
"Thats nice work boys"
Do you know why these states like New Mexico decided to "pass" tonight?? Does that mean they don't want to cast their votes to nominate GW?
The announcer was saying earlier that if the people out here did not see all of this, then they know what to do. I do not know what the link to this web station but it is linked on tonights RNC thrread.
Cops just shut down Herald Square, not letting anyone new in...
And well they should associate the protesters on MSNBC right now with Kerry. They're holding "Mission NOT Accomplished" signs - Terry McAuliffe's very own slogan for this week.
Did you see the girl from Arkansas? She was great. Just goes to prove that despite all the voter fraud, not all blacks are ignorant, koolaid drinking RATs, even in Arkansas. That was a proud moment.
They usually let the candidate's home state cast the votes to put him over the top, so sometimes states pass so that can happen.
Just a note for the record that they've resumed roll call.
No, it means..that they are wanting...a paticular state to cast the deciding number of votes to nominate the president.
Pepper spray now being used at 33rd and 6th streets, and on Broadway

Also, Barnes mentioned specifically that the White House never should have apologized for those 16 words in the State of the Union address that mentioned uranium. It all proved to be true, which we knew it would be, but the WH apologized.
Also, they let the DNC get out front of supposedly bad news regarding the economy.
Big headlines regarding more in poverty the other day. I had to read the Wall Street Journal to find out that the poverty percentage is EXACTLY the same as it was for 7 of the 8 years of Clinton!
The administration should be out there having press conferences with their cabinet post level staff explaining this stuff to the public.
This is what Reagan did so brilliantly; he went around the media or forced them to cover major press conferences and he TAUGHT things to people so they understood better what they were hearing/reading.
Herald Square is where MSNBC is doing their live broadcast.
I'm sure all the protestor PUKES just want to get on TV. Hope Chrissy gets swept up with them.
The roll calls are always arranged so that a certain state will put whoever it is over the top. So, other states have to pass to make sure the right number comes up when it's the chosen state's turn.
Accommodate them, then...
You are correct, they just mentioned that on the radio!
