Re-read the thread. All of those comments were made during this thread. I mean, people CAN disagree without being disagreeable.
I have never agreed with you more. It's sad what I read on this thread tonight, that people's expectations were so askew.

Not all pundits didn't like the twin. Chris Wallace (who said something quite negative about Teresa's speech) loved every minute of it. World has gone topsy turvey indeed.
I just went over to that "other site" and found this gem about how the left is viewing this campaign:

The twins are rookies as far as public speaking. Give them a break. I can't say I cared that much for the script they were given but they came across to me like most college grads that aren't that interested in the public spotlight.
That lady lady was wonderful! What a powerful speaker! I watched CSPAN the entire evening. The talking heads can go pound salt if you ask me! I want to see this Convention without commentary from the talking clowns!
I live in the Soccer Mom's world. I doubt they even listened.
They're actually conservative but so thick they don't know it and could care less.

Well, I guess to each his own. It didn't appeal to me. :) Perhaps I'm being too harsh...but at the time I was thinking "oh, please end it already!"
I really think some people have no perspective. Things aren't always cast in extremes.
They were not polished and were not the best speakers but they were fine. They did not bomb on the one hand, and they did not bring the house down on the other.
It was what it was and it was fine.
Did you hear what he said before that? That for a long time he had thought the twins might be "payback" for Bush for his wild youth, but he now thinks he was wrong!
Arnold is a great addition to America, one of our wonderful new immigrant citizens.
Perhaps he'll have a chance at a cabinet post someday, though he's out of the running for President of course.
I was really impressed by him. He's a remarkable man.
