Hey all. Hope this is even half as good as last night.
So far not liking the Anthem. Please sing the notes as written...please! The Gatlins were great last night.

I saw Sen. Allen on a show this afternoon. He said that the Republicans can pick up three seats in the senate.
Now sit down for this one...
HE SAID THAT THUNE IS AHEAD OF DASCHLE!!!!!!

That really is needless fretting. Nobody thinks Bush isn't committed to winning the war on terror so please don't clog up this thread claiming something that isn't so.

HARDBALL:
Tom Brokaw won't vote on who had the best first night. Clintons had good night if you're a democrat, and we don't know about last night yet, how it affected the undecideds. (Tom is soo transparent!)
And Tom makes fun of Cheney being 'First Grandfather.
Tim Russert first mentions Arnold. LOL BOTH IGNORE MATTHEWS QUESTION TO SAY WHICH FIRST NIGHT WAS BEST!
Brokaw says being in New York helps to keep Terrorism front and center, but this convention has made no mention of Iraq. They are staying away from conduct of the war, so far. "Terrorism is a real threat", he says.
Russert says some blah blah. I missed it.
Matthews asks if Kerry has some other area besides his war record to fall back on. Brokaw won't answer but says Kerry is a good debater.
Russert says Kerry might mention Swiftboaters tomorrow, he knows he has to jumpstart his campaign.
I'm bored with this....too early for me to take David Gregory and Howard Fineman as Chris asks them leading questions about Laura.

Thune is running really good ads linking Daschle to Shrillary and The Swimmer. That's gotta leave a mark in a state like SD.

This is a re-post from early today; you have been warned:
======
I heard Boortz and posted this warning to all Americans:
Tin foil alert!
Neal Boortz was talking about Ellen 'Ranting' Ratner. She apparently is running around crying that the RNC podium looks like a church podium and the wood makes it resemble a cross. She apparently is having apoplexy over such a sinister subliminal message that that podium is sending out to America.
So, all of you who don't want to have your brains fried by that subliminal cross and church-looking podium, put on your tin foil NOW! You have been warned!!!

Anyone notice that our young people are neat and well-spoken? That's why I love attending CPAC.
