I agree. There are some voters out there who would vote for or against a person based on what kind of parent he/she thinks the candidate is...After all, homelife can tell alot about a person. These girls were, thankfully, off the stage quickly, but I wouldn't want either of them as a daughter or daughter-in-law. They are very young and immature (22? 23?) but at the same age, alot of people are married, with children, etc. These girls have been very protected, and privileged. It shows.

You read something into my comment that wasn't there.

I thought the girls were funny....it was a bit goofy, but cute. They get their sense of humor from their dad, for sure.

She gets it. If you don't have a successful war on terror, nothing else matters.

The girls are adorable, completely unscripted, natural and apparently unaffected. They made it clear they were there because they love their Dad, they made it clear they weren't politically astute, no false airs....I loved their freshness. And I have two daughters. I should know.
I've always told my husband, long before I knew about George Bush, that the mark of a truely great man is that he has two daughers, and I can tick off many such men to prove my point.

I just can't imagine anyone wanting to follow Arnie. If he speaks in 2008, they're will be a lot of scrambling to not have to speak after him.

The kids have good speech writers. Their skit was kind of like the email they sent out about two weeks ago. Obviously the girls are being well-packaged to appeal to the youth market. Smart marketing.

The twins were fine.
You must be childless.
You should be, if you're not.

I've heard Sen. Sarbanes is vulnerable in 2006 in Maryland if he doesn't retire. 2006 will be his THIRTIEST year in the Senate and he'll probably set down.
To: sinkspur
Sink You gonna take my bet about the trashy twin talk not making it to MSM?
Little Katie will be all over it at 7 am.
