cbsnews.com has a live feed and (I hate to say it) the best video quality.

"If you're determined, and you're willing to work hard, you can do anything you want to."

So true, Laura! That's what I've discovered since I retired. There's always a contribution one can make.

Jenna could go in for the kill by strangling one of the Kerry daughers with her beer bong! ;-)

You a fuddy-duddy? I'd never have guessed it.

Moi? No, I just thought those jokes were painful to listen to, and they went on way too long. I understand they're not used to public speaking, which is why their segment should have been really quick, and had no jokes.

You are taking this way too seriously.

Some connection was needed to the young. If they were too prepackaged they would have put younger voters off, like the Kerry girls.

I wish MTV still have Celebrity Deathmatch *LOL*

It'd be great to match up the Bush daughters vs. the Kerry daughters.

"The twins did just fine for their first appearance. LOVED the signs held up by GHW and Barbara "We Love Laura."

Indeed. We love Laura as well!
A real First Lady...

It wasn't my observation, it was CIB-173RDABN who made it. The media will ignore it completely, even if a pundit figures it out.

Keep drinking the Kool Aid. They should have skipped the twins, and given Laura more time. She's truly classy. The girls WERE an embarassment. You heard how uncomfortable the crowd was. Not funny, and several inappropriate comments.

Whoever wrote those lines for them should be fired immediately. Just painful.

To each his own. They were a breath of fresh air.

Jenna and Barbara were making fun of the GOP in a sweet way that the 21-30 group can relate to. We ARE a party dominated by fuddy duddies! Let's make fun of us.

There is NOTHING bad about this showcase. I've reconsidered .. Laura has such an authentic charm and charisma that her performance could never be a comedown from Arnold's. It's like the Allman's ending with soulful "Midnight Rider" after a rollicking sendup of "Jessica".

Pathetic. We just lost some wishy-washy votes with this schlock.

Nonsense. Nobody bases their vote on how a candidate's children performs on stage. Where do you get that notion from? You think there are people out there saying "Well, those girls really stunk up the joint, guess I oughta vote for that John Kerry."

C'mon!
