Just figured it all out.......Republican Campaign manager, at President Bush's suggestion (smile), is playing poker w/the networks who have deigned to cover this 2nd night. Let them think we're just so-so in the speakers' department, them WHAMO.....here's Laura, Jenna, Barbara, Arnold, Zell!
I do miss her presence in the WH on a day-to-day basis though. I'm sure she has a lot of influence still, but it hasn't been the same since she left.

Hey Mary had a show on cable about 10 years ago with another conservative gal with blond hair, one day she was drunk on the show and I have not seen her since anyone know who she was?
The action last night didn't start until 10:00. Give it some time.
I know she has a key role in BC04, but when GWB wins, I don't think you'll see her back at the WH.
I "heard" Karen Hughes was back with the campaign....But, yes, I sure would like her back in the WH until the election is over (Maybe she is telecomuting?)
