OH MY GOSH! Last night's convention was fabulous! Nobody does it better - the dims must be literally foaming at the mouth. The former police commish, the Iraqi speaker, 9/11 families, the NYPD policeman's "Amazing Grace", McCain, and finally RUDY, RUDY, RUDY!
And that Finale: Larger-than-life Frank Sinatra singing "New York, New York" - a perfect ending to a perfect evening!
Is it wrong to note that our Secretary of Labor (Elaine Chao) is, uh, kinda cute?
Oh, Miss America's a hottie too, but hey, you expect that from her!
John Edwards: Today, under George W. Bush, there are two Americas, not one:Yeah.
#1: Decent folks. CLICK:#2: Lowlifes.
I'm not one who normally watches the conventions, but last night, I was glued to the TV. In a moments time, I went from laughter to anger - laughing at McCain's "disengenuous film-maker" comment and then anger when the disengenuous one's face appeared.
Tears of compassion rolled as the victims of 9-11 spoke and of course, they flowed again as speaker after speaker spoke so highly of our Armed Forces serving our country.
Yeah!!! That's what America is all about. Not the messages of the great un-washed masses outside the Garden and sitting in the USA Today booth.
To top the evening off after the speeches, the phone rang, mrs dd answered and ended up providing Bush-Cheney and Bill Jones a bump in the polls as she answered the pollster's questions. KEWL!
Thanks for the presentation today, Billie.
Four More Years! Four More Years! Four More Years! Four More Years!

Miss Billie ... thank you for this great thread ... I've been watching the show.
Thought Arnold was too cool.
The First Lady was wonderful, as were the twins.
Most of the talking heads thought the twins were quite unecessary ... I thought they were delightful, if a little juvenile ... that's OK ... that's who they are.
With the Vice-President coming up, and then Dubya ... the best is yet to come.
God bless the GOP.
