Your conclusions are extensions of mine. I have only one quibble with your discussion. You end with this:
The race between John Kerry and George Bush was arguably a toss up. The race between Kerry and honor will be measured as a landslide. Sadly, the DNC and GOP will probably miss its significance entirely. I agree with you that the DNC will miss the significance of this. If they began paying attention to "honor," they would have to throw out half of their leaders, and burn the recent history books. However, I disagree about the GOP. The themes of the first night of the Republican Convention make it crystal clear that the GOP understands the question of honor.

I didn't intend to imply there was an issue of honor as far as the GOP was concerned. I think that the causal root of the eventual electoral margin may be misinterpreted by them. IOW, I believe at his point any margin beyond a few points will come largely from those voting explicitly against Kerry's lack of character. And the numbers will be large.
