Please don't refer to them as MOH "winners." The correct term is RECIPIENT. As John Levitow (MOH, USAF, Vietnam) said,"The term 'winner' implies it was a contest. If it had been a contest, I wouldn't have entered."

Your correction of my choice of words is on point. If I'd thought about it, I would not have made that mistake. I do know, and highly respect, the fact that the men, and women, who bear medals from our military, do refer to themselves as "recipients" and not "winners" for the reasons you state.
I'll remember that, and not make that mistake again.
