That was a pretty good speech McCain gave at the convention tonight.
So, how will he undo it Tuesday?
My guess is that some morning show host will ask him, "So, do you think that John Kerry would be a good war time leader for our nation?", and he'll say "Sure," and that will totally erase his speech. "'Kerry Would Be Good War Time President' -- McCain" would be the headline, I expect.
What's your guess?

Not a prophet, nor the son of a prophet... but I do give educated guesses.
Contrast the scorn of the first cluster of postings, and the change of tone when McCain underperforms even my grim expectation.
Dan
You describe exactly the problem with McCain, and why he will never be elected President.
From your fingertips to God's ears.
I think maybe the most fitting parody of his name is "McMeMeME!"

"Re run what they have and do new ones only monthly up to election day. "
No Chance... they have allowed the media itself to generate the publicity, and play their ads for free - each new ad causes the Dems to squirm some more as they are asked to refute it. They cannot generate any positive sound bites while they are busy back-pedaling.
...we had John McCain on the air shortly [after Miller's speech]. And it was plain that Senator McCain was quite uncomfortable with Zell Millers choice of language and tone. And he saidJohn McCain said to me that he believed that John Kerry is qualified to be commander in chief.
Are you going to apologize? Go ahead, shock me; I could use that kind of a shock.
Dan
Thanks!
