A follow-up to Sunday night's article on John Kerry's Daughters recieving boos from the MTV Video Music Award crowd. After seeing the show broadcast live, then watching the re-broadcast of the show, many are cryin gfoul as it seems that MTV has dubbed over, or edited out many of the boos the daughters recieved.
Not only that, but now CNN is trying to report that the boos were meant for both the Kerry AND Bush daughters. While the Bush daughters may have recieved boos, viewers could not hear them due to the fact that their appearance was made via satelite.
CNN said that some audience members gave a "standing ovation"... which is odd considering the fact that most of the individuals were standing throughout the entire program... they had to... they were standing room only seats...
Many are trying to use this event to claim that individuals at the event thought that when the Kerry daughters were announced, the Bush daughters were going to come out.
If so, the audience is not only dumb and deaf, but blind as well.
This media spin has got to stop.
juiceenewsdaily will be following this story and will be providing updates as they appear.
"...hello? .....is this thing on?....hello?..."
Looks like the Kerry campaign could use a little CPR
Reminds me of Hillary in Central Park - the "Information Ministers" edit out what they think is wrong...
Did they photoshop/edit the deer in the headlights look on both their faces and the finger to her mouth shusshing the crowd of booos ? I think not.....
More was revealed last night than Janet Jacksons Superbowl exposure IMO. I believe MTV did America a favor last evening by showing that the media is the only ones voting for Kerry.
That's the truth. Carson Daly (OH GOD I HATE HIM) introduced the Kerry girls, NOT THE BUSH GIRLS. The boos (and applause) was solely for the Kerry girls until THEY introduced the Bush girls. This is ridiculous because 50% of those in the audience will not vote.
"My dad taught all three of us how to give mouth-to-mouth. As a public service, we are here to demonstrate the technique. Where's Madonna? Will Madonna step out please?"
I love the habi-trail.
Because I'm on the West Coast, I was able to TiVo the "live" first run out here. The boos were deafening, and the Kerry ladies seemed a bit stunned.
And CNN is wrong. The Kerry's were booed before Jenna and Barbara ever appeared. It was a non-reaction to the Bush twins, and a loud, majority negative reaction to the Kerry's.
A 'two-fer' lie for ABC radio news!
No! Not possible!! Not MTV!!
Not that I advocate this in any way, but it's really a treat to go over to DU and see them referring to CNN as the "Conservative News Network" and MSNBC as "a Republican shill". I think they're quite aware that their candidate is circling the bowl as we speak, so MTV editing out the boos is just further evidence to me that the Democratic disintegration continues unabated...
What's really ridiculous is 50% of the audience is waiting for further instruction from the Prophet Tupac once he returns from the dead....
Rock the vote doesn't have as much way as it did in the 90's. You can't pry enough of these kids away from their bongs to actually go where old people congregate and vote.
Hee Hee.
Au contraire. Let them ratchet it up more -- and dig their own grave as more people figure out that the media cannot be trusted.
I think the audience could spot a phony, so they booed the phonies. I suspect they can identify more with Jenna and Laura...
The media gets more and more Owellian every day.
Oops. I meant Jenna and Barbara.
"Because I'm on the West Coast, I was able to TiVo the "live" first run out here. The boos were deafening, and the Kerry ladies seemed a bit stunned."
Did the booing start before or after the Bush girls appeared on the monitor? They could have appeared before they were introduced.
It remind me of when Michael Moo received jeers a few months back - his 'truth' was that a very small group was booing him - and everyone else was booing the booers.
