A truly sick perspective. It's the only perspective that the RATS can have. What Kerry did is known and believed by all. It will be interesting to see which Rats will drink of this batch of Kerry Kool-Aid.

This article is key.
KEY.
It's what the other side really believes, and what they are trying to conceal (Think of it always, speak of it never).
If you have any more money to donate to the Bush reelection campaign, send it to this guy.
He's all we need.

Heard rumors that Kerry was a government informer - spying on his hippie friends... the reason for his late discharge?<<<
I would no more want a snitch for President than I would a traitor.

I've seen some of his other work. I'm not sure about the "pot head" label. But "American-hating nut job" sounds about right. He'd be happier living in some other country.

Does John Kerry still have the courage he exhibited after returning from Vietnam? If he does, and if he's elected, our troops will be out of Iraq by next February. I'll give the author points for validating my old tagline:
"Kerry plans to graff post-Vietnam policy on Iraq: Cut funding and let the Syrian Baathists take over"
They should quote him @ the RNC Convention

Here is the real debate. There are those, like the author of this piece, who believe the testimony of Kerry in 1971 was actually
true. I have seen several talking heads in the MSM who have implied it was true but have not come right out and said it.
I think most people start with the assumption that Kerry was either lying or mistaken in his 1971 testimony (the Winter Soldier Investigations have been thoroughly discredited). However, there are some on the Left who still maintain that Kerry was right to make his accusations. People like Rather, Matthews, Al Hunt, Mark Shields et al won't come right out and say it but if you listen to them, you can tell that they believed Kerry then and they still believe it.
Even Kerry on Meet the Press earlier this year refused to retract the accusations he made to the Fulbright Committee in 1971.
I believe they see this election as their chance to get their guy into the White House, where "their guy" is the hippie leftist anti-war dope smoker from 35 years ago (Clinton wasn't well known in the 60's so in their minds he doesn't count). I believe they are still fighting their culture war of the 60's but they won't admit it. In their minds, if they can get Kerry elected now, then they must have been right back then.
They need this because pretty much all of the philosophies they were proposing back then have turned out to be complete failures and self destructive. In essence, they lost their culture war and a Kerry win in this election would be some sort of twisted vindictation.

The Vietnam vets who despise Kerry do so because he has helped rob them of the glory they feel they deserve. Most of them, like most of the WWII vets, were dragged into battle through the Selective Service System. They were drafted. In fact, unlike WWII troops, a majority of those who served in Vietnam were volunteers.
They just repeat the same lies, over and over...

Kerry's Real Heroism Came After The WarThis is what lies beneath the debate over Kerry's Vietnam record - the lessons learned from Vietnam. The far-left wing of the Dems came to despise American power in pursuit of American interests, to the point where they became apologists for tyrants as long as they were communists. And they will not back away from Kerry's 1971 commentary - quite the contrary, they are drawn to it like moths to a fire - and, like a fire, it will consume them and their chances in 2004.

"Even Jane Fonda appologized to the veterans when she learned of their suffering because of what she did.. " I have to disagree with that statement.
I watched several TV interviews with the Hanoi Slut in which she was supposedly going to apologize.
NEVER once did she use the words, "I'm sorry....."
Rationalization was always her defense.
