on Sunday night when John Kerry's daughters were announced to speak at the annual MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS, the MTV youth were expected to welcome his daughter's as pop culture princesses.
Instead, in an era of the unexpected, the daughters of the Democratic candidate were met with cheers -- AND JEERS -- during the live broadcast in Miami.
From the moment Alexandra and Vanessa started speaking, the boos outweighed anything close to cheers, and the reaction turned worse when the daughters asked the VIACOM youth to vote for their father. So shocked by the reaction, the taller of the two daughters tried to 'shhhhhh' her peers to no avail.

Generations should be getting more and more conservative- all of their liberal would-be peers were aborted.

Does anybody have a video or video link to this? Remember how VH-1 turned the boos and jeers that greeted the Hildebeast into cheers?

A holiday weekend video treat: How cable music channel VH1 turned booing of Senator Hillary Clinton into cheering.
| Senator Clinton was booed when she walked on stage last October at a rock concert in Madison Square Garden to benefit 9/11 victims. It was shown live by VH1 but, as ABC's John Stossel illustrated in a July 20/20 special on media distortions, when the Viacom-owned cable channel replayed it sound technicians replaced the booing with cheering and applause. And that version is the permanent record VH1 put onto its DVD of the event. During his July 12 20/20 look at media manipulation and distortions, Stossel used the Hillary Clinton incident as his first example. |
Earlier this summer, ABC's John Stossel showed how VH1 last year replaced booing of Hillary Clinton with applause |
Stossel explained: Last fall Paul McCartney headlined a concert to benefit victims of September 11th. Some politicians appeared, including Senator Hillary Clinton. Over the booing of Senator Clinton as she walked on stage and waved, Stossel noted: And people in the audience booed her. Booed and heckled.
Stossel told viewers: But then MTV's channel VH1 re-ran the same concert and made it into a DVD. As 20/20 showed the same scene again, but this time VH1's new version with applause, Stossel pointed out: Notice a difference? The booing has been removed. Now and forever on the DVD the crowd applauds Senator Clinton.
The MRC's Mez Djouadi has posted a RealPlayer clip of what Stossel showed. To watch it, go to the posted version of this CyberAlert: http://www.mediaresearch.org/cyberalerts/2002/cyb20020830.asp#3

So will viacom edit the boos out just like the boos for Hitlary?
CNNin europe had a BET reporter who said black votes have been polled as 90% against Bush.
Could they have just been booing for being used? (without compensation deals)

Leave it to a couple of libs to try and quiet peoples views, treating them like little kids.

Amazing; maybe the next generation has an understanding of what is at stake if we don't defeat the Islamic Fascists.
Interesting at the very least.

The last statistsics [I will try to find them] showed youth increasing their lean to conservatism 5-10% recently, putting them ahead of older folks.
Although I won't believe this incident happened as it is written without having seen it with my own eyes.

Very rude and distasteful!
The girls may be stumping for their father, but the audience's reaction was disgusting.
