This is a repost but I think everyone should see this story.
Is Joe Urgo that bearded dude that we keep seeing in that one black and white picture of John Kerry (sitting behind and to his left) giving his senate testimony?
This election has got to have the new Iraq gov shaking in it's boots. They know what Bush has gone through to rid them of Saddam and they also know that no one did it before Bush, and no one will continue it after Bush. The next 4 years are critical in Iraq and they know Bush will support them through it. Bush = stable Iraq... Kerry = cut and run (regardless of what he says today)
I dunno, I bet the convention will continue unaltered and, so far as I can tell, the NYPD and associated orgs are prepared for this stuff.
My feeling is some hippies are gonna get their heads cracked before this is through, but...so what?
Hoover called it exactly right in 1958 and the interim shows he was right:

>NION believes, as do the other anti-war groups, that Republicans are more of a threat than Al-Qaeda or the Baathists. Whether they are just inveterate haters of Republicans or they are treasonous is uncertain. What is certain is that peace is not even a tertiary consideration for them - destabilizing the United States is. NION, and the other peace groups are linked to communist, Islamist, and anti-capitalist groups. <
You certainly hit pay dirt with this article. Thanks and good work
