Jesse Jackson to Danny Glover: "Yeah I can't believe those Pubs had the gall to come to Hymie-town".

Second to last, is that a man or a woman? And the arm, prosthetic?

I'd guess man. And the arm's probably real. But I'm not sure.

The ultra-liberals hate Starbucks because it's a mean multinational corporation. Not because their coffee's overpriced and overrated.

Danny: "Damn Jesse! How many women do you have spread around the county?"

Jesse: "Shh! I don't talk about that in public!"

Danny: "OK. By the way, who is that down on their knees in front of you"

Jesse: "Some chick that's on Air America! Keep holding this blue thing up!"

Danny: "Uh Jesse, you better put on your glasses. That's no chick! That's Al Franken!"

Franken: "MMMM! MMMM!

Who's calling them mainstream?

Dee Dee Myer's husband, writing for the New York Times implied they were:

And some of the delegates suggested that the protests would backfire to Mr. Bush's benefit, by painting Senator John Kerry - whose sister, Peggy, joined some of the weekend's events - as captive to demonstrators outside the mainstream.

"I left God's country," said Leon Mosley of Waterloo, Iowa, co-chairman of his state party. "They could use a bunch of people from Iowa to come here to show New Yorkers what life is all about, what being patriotic is all about, and what country is all about. I'm as confident about Bush being re-elected as I am that eggs are going to be in New York tomorrow morning.''

But some veteran conventiongoers suggested that the Republicans would be unwise to count their chickens just yet. In their own outspoken way, the protesters were making precisely the same point as Mr. Mosley, with children in strollers, grandparents on canes, all accepting the withering Sunday heat - and the overwhelming security presence intended to keep the march past Madison Square Garden orderly.

A liberal guy I know called me from out of state and said he was watching this on CSPAN. He did not like the disrespect and the words on the signs and said he was shocked to see a lot of what was displayed. He used to be a police officer in NYC.

Oh God.

I watched the protests today.

The vast majority were freaks of the highest order.

Anyone trying to characterize these weirdos as ordinary everyday Joe's and Jane's who are "fed up" is simply a liar.

Behold! The tub of lard near the center of this photo is USA Today's "unbiased" commentary on the Republican National Convention! (This is being done after they dismissed Ann Coulter for being too "extreme" in her review of the DNC!)

The Leftists are getting more and more desperate.

From your keyboard right to God's ear.

I walked by Michael Moore once in NYC on W. 72nd St. The pictures don't do him justice. He's even fatter in person. Grotesque. I really, really do hope he has a coronary. Couldn't happen to a nicer person.

New Yorkers really do think they are the center of the universe. Their narcissim and smugness blind them to other realities. They think it, therefore it must be true. Do you know who we are?!!

I lived in NYC for a long time and I was always stunned to find out when I left for various visits to home and friends how perfectly happy and satisfied people in the rest of the country were with their lives. NY is not the whole world. It is possible to be happy and successful in the rest of the country.
