Sounds like Kerry isn't the only one AWOL this weekend.

Is the author exaggerating, or has the USN officially
spoken?
He's not entitled to a "V" with the Silver Star, since Navy regs don't allow for such a thing. Navy is not saying that he doesn't deserve the Silver Star.
