Good night my friends. Tomorrow's a work day, and it's a quarter after midnight for me....so, I bid you goodbye until we meet up again.
Have a great evening and week!
Same here, nic. I got to head off to bed soon too. Goodnight.
You also.
How do these people KNOW the party affiliation of those people attending the shows? Are the delegates to the convention wearing some sort of badge out on the streets?
"Protester" does not = "guy".
Well, sorta. "Protesterette" or possibly "Protesterix" is probably more correct. :)
Yes. You absolutely can....as long as you're a card carrying member of the VRWC. RATs are exempt from prosecution for said activities because the Constitution gives them special protections under the freedom of speech rights, the ones that allow the extension of their freedom of speech to include the freedom to assault anyone who disagrees with them. Didn't you know?
The party acquired a large block of tickets to several shows. There was an effort to get cast members to call in sick. I suspect it failed, in part, because most actors have a life-long dream of someday playing to an audience that actually understands the show.
I hope Americans remember these protestors whenever Kerry says, "It's time to take back America."
And what...Give it to these losers?
LOL! That's what I was thinking. Too bad somebody didn't think to yell back at them, "we don't support abortion .. YOU DO". It would have been a priceless moment.
This is the heart and soul of America in action you know. Kerry and Edwards will be proud of them. SCUM!!!!!!!!
A second protester shoved a middle-aged woman in a black cocktail dress, shouting:"Bitch, go home! We don't want you here!" At one point, police cordoned off a city block after several dozen demonstrators jeered and razzed the incoming audience.
"We were talking to delegates as they came by. We were very calm," said Brendan, 23, an organic farmer from upstate New York, adding he was thumbing his nose at the crowd with other hecklers before police intervened. "You do anything a little out of the ordinary here and they arrest you."
One person ruins it for everyone. If the Brownshirts For Kerry don't like it, they can stomp their own kind for lashing out violently.
I think Fox news knows that THESE are not the viewers.
They were chanting "fox news sucks" and "f__k fox news" as they passed Studio A.
If fox news DOESN"T report it.... then we'll know that they've been compromised by liberal prodcuers.
So classy. I was rather taken with the young man's Freudian slip. Doesn't he know Pubbies ARE pro-life. Talk about dumb.
How ironic, since the day before, the bulk of the protestors were people accusing the Republicans of trying rob them of their right to kill babies. They need to get together and figure out where they stand on killing babies.
Treat Republicams. what people need to know is that if YOU disagree with these fascist/commie/socialist/ the target is on YOUR back. (they shoot people in the back, don't they) Their hatred is not just for Repubs, it's America and our freedoms that drives their viciousness.
I doubt that the Slimes will print this. They know this will do more for Bush in the Mid-West than several campaign trips would.
"Republican murderers go home and kill your babies!" one young man yelled at theatergoers
My answer: "No, we're raising them to be conservative voters!"
