So she had both a breast cancer and a head injury from traffic accident. They turned out to be not mutually exclusive. There has been a flurry of speculation about the veracity of her head injury story. It is also true.

I saw the announcement where she was ill. Theory was that the death was imminent or had already taken place.
Looks like she had already died BEFORE they announced she was ill.
Remind you of anyone we know?

I'll go ahead and write the opening paragraph for the DPRK News Agency Website:
It is with great sadness that we must annouce that Ko Yong-hee, has left the companionship of our illustrious leader and savior of the homeland. The Great Kim Jong-Il, who has stood fast against the Western horde, is said to be resting in his offical residence in Pyongyang. A Basket of Flowers honoring our Great Leader was received from the Syrian Embassy.

My regret for the death of Ko Yong-hee,I am sure she will be missed by those who loved her. My condolences to the people of North Korea that it wasn't her rotten husband who died instead.

She was murdered by her husband. Seems pretty obvious, given Jung-Il's history of murdering his girl friends.

Real cause of death: She probably died of starvation like the many others in that country when she once again became common folk.
