Does anyone know how to contact the swiftboat vets. I had an idea which may be crazy, but to avoid potential blowback to the president, why dont they run an ad that states "that although President Bush and John Mcain want us to stop, we believe America needs to know the real John Kerry."
Lets be real though, the only people who will beat Kerry are Kerry and President Bush. They are on record as saying they will try anything to make sure Kerry loses.

How many times do they have to say it...?They have said they are against Kerry as he is unfit for command..They have said they have no ties to the Bush campaign....
The dems do not want that message heard so they spread the lie...The Bush campaign has denied it, the media cannot find coordination, the media likes to imply ties..
The Veterans for Truth want their message heard and don't care that the politicians fear a backlash...They were harmed by Kerry,cannot stand his hypocisy and want the truth out...They have waited all these years.
The Swift Boat Vets are quite capable of taking care of themselves. Don't know why their success should bother you. Why don't you contact the DNC and your local newspaper and tell them we need to know the real Kerry???
I have seen O'Neill, in several interviews, answer that question. He emphatically states, "Even if the President would personally call me and ask me to stop, we will not."
And .. if you saw the statement Laura Bush made, you get a clearer picture of what the President REALLY thinks. They ask Laura if she thought the Swifties ads were unfair?, "NO, NOT REALLY". That's tells me .. President Bush does not think the ads are unfair. After all the President has been bombarded for 3 years with the most horrible of ads [and the President is not out there whining]. And .. that too is what Laura Bush remarked to the media - "the President has been bombarded with hateful ads too".

The ads already stress what he did after Vietnam. The press and the RATs have tried to bend it into what he did while in country because they think it's a sexier story and because they know it will be less damaging to Kerry than exposing his treasonous activities post-Vietnam. Not everybody watches the nightly news/talk/debate shows and keep a scorecard. Those are the people I want to finally let know the truth.

and they know there's almost no chance he will resign
from the race.
Therefore, he needs to lose. But any vote against

Why would this indicate that their success is bothering me. Some people on here need to get real and quit labeling anyone that signs up is a troll. Why would I be worried about this hurting Bush if I was a troll? As for the term blowback, every rat has been on t.v. saying the word and that is the word the media is trying to gin up.
The key word here is "blowback." There ain't no "blowback" except in the fantasies of DU'ers.
Only after they get in power. Deceit, intimidation and thuggery will have to do for right now.
