Communism puts the power to steal property into the hands of government. As socialism takes money from its citizens to conduct the ruling elite's programs (even contrary to popular opinion), it moves from benevolence to abuse. At the point where taxation without representation occurs, we have communism. And Ronald Reagan proved that it could be fought. That he did without Kerry's help, of course. I'd argue it's what Kerry did after he said this that damns him. He proved that he wanted to tax people to the point of taking their money without representation.

Same sex "marriages" would be the same thing, taking money in the form of taxes for practices that most Americans don't condone.

Stem cell research being funded by the federal government would be the same sort of a situation.

Foreign aid to pay for abortion would also be this sort of a problematic use of federal funds.

Kerry has followed the path to taxation without representation every chance he got. His attitude has always been, "If you can't beat the communists, join them."

It bothers me to hear the expression, "Communism is dead." Thanks to Reagan, Communism was derailed for a while, but it is hardly dead. There are too many democrats who are socialists & communists. They will never give up on their agenda to change our capitalist system and usurp our freedoms. They are hear to stay and have almost complete control of main stream media & our education system. This is the war we should be fighting.
