It sucks sometimes to be in Ireland, and not have the opportunity to see some of this stuff live.
I was thinking about the effect of the Swift Vet ads, etc. With the internet and talk radio, this forced the issue of bringing Kerry's traitorous acts to light. We didn't know then about the tilt of the media, and even if we did back in the 70's we had no other source of real information.
I hope that the Swift Vets are able to open a lot of eyes about the honorable service of the Vets AND their cause of fighting communism, and the fact that when the US withdrew millions of people were murdered by the Communists.
Truth may be a slow-wheel grinding, but it will prevail.
Sometimes, like Bush has often said, things happen for a reason. With Kerry's run for the Presidency, it may be a blessing in disguise. The VietNam era can be cleansed only by the Light of Truth shining on the good men who served who were unfairly maligned and abused by their own countrymen.

These people, and I use that term loosely, can't get any lower. They don't care one whit about our servicemen and women. They are just stepping stones to these filthy scumbags. It wouldn't have been any different had they stacked up bodies so they could have a platform on which to stand to spout their hateful message.

I've been more or less resisting watching c-spam or posting to this thread, but the stupid coffins stunt got to me. I, like some here, find no humor in this, but find it very emotional to watch this trashing of our president, Veep, etc. Why exactly is c-spam carrying so many hours of this, especially if the same kooks are going by more than once? We ought to thank our lucky stars that GWB doesn't just say, "take this job and shove it!" He is too much of a patriot who truly loves this land to do that.
