Sometimes you feel like a NUT sometimes you don't. Let's hope the USA doesn't feel like a NUT on November 2, 2004.
abso(F'n)lutely!! Thanks for the info.
Damning.
It was extraordinary that they would get so far in a plot to assasinate Democratically elected representatives of the people, but even more striking when you consider that Nixon was trying to draw the war down and 2/3rds of our people were already brought home.
I can't believe that anybody thinks Kerry the Traitor is a possible President. It looks like we have to carry the un-American Leftist base of the Democratic party on our backs again. The burden of having to carry them in the midst of fighting a tough, global war against terrorism is huge.
Damn them.
Where is Jimmy Driftwood when you need him?
Maybe he was afraid of "what goes around comes around". He should have thought about that well prior to that meeting. Guess what, What goes around really does comes around. God has a sense of humor. Ain't pride a bitch?
I think there are FBI files that say Kerry was at the Kansas City meeting. At least I read that on FR sometime back. What's with the FBI anyway? They just let this plot go as if it was nothing.
So as I see it if Kerry was at the Kansas City Meeting and he voted against the assassinations then he must have known what was happening at the first meeting because they had to change venues twice, due to government surveillance, before the last vote . That means he knew of a conspiracy to assassination a government official and he did nothing about it although he had plenty of time to tell officials. I believe the law states that he was complicit in the violation of a federal law.

Last week, John Hurley, an organizer of veteran volunteers for Kerry's presidential run, called two men who were quoted in The Star as recalling Kerry attending the Kansas City meeting. John Musgrave of Baldwin City, Kan., said Hurley called him twice and in the second conversation asked the disabled veteran to contact the newspaper reporter to say he had doubts about the memory.
"He said, `I'd like you to consider that before that article comes out call him and tell him you were wrong,' " said Musgrave, who has expressed disappointment with Kerry's position on issues regarding prisoners of war.
Hurley said Friday he believed last week Musgrave was simply mistaken.
"I asked him to be very sure of his recollection, not to change his recollection," Hurley said. "I would apologize to John Musgrave if he thought in any way I was pressuring him."
Another veteran, Randy Barnes of Kansas City, said Hurley had contacted him but did not prompt him to question his memory, although his certainty about the fact wavered after their conversation.
I voted to assasinate the senators before I voted against it and then I quit the VVAW
The claim is that he quit the group because of this plot. So he obviously knew about it.
