The curious thing about America is that when adults come here with every intention of going home once they've made enough money, and they have kids who go to school and mix with others...the kids become Americans. Freedom is in the air, we breathe it in every minute of every day. We're like no other nation on earth, and if you have half a brain, you recognize this at an early age. You're changed forever. You see life differently and know you can be whatever you want to be and the only thing to stop you is your own ambition or lack thereof and willingness to work hard. Go around the world, have a good time, and come home and kiss the ground you walk on.
This doesn't address the undeniable problem of assimilating many, many millions of people whose culture and language and ethical background isn't like ours. We're exporting capitalism and American know-how to change the third world, but there are potholes along the way. Terrorism is one of them.

That can't speak english.
You can't go anywhere in the southern U.S. and escape people speaking only mexican. It is not spanish; it is a bastardized version at best.
Why the hell should I hire someone who can barely speak pigeon english? Well I won't, so no capitalism for them.
