Lisa, Both parties have no clue on the immigration issue, it's voodoo, persona non grata type thing.
This issue has been ignored by the best of them, dating back to the 60's.
Working very hard right now, actually. We pounded the pavement again today for President Bush in my small town here in southcentral Ohio.
I have found myself (largely due to FR) becoming a political activist at the age of 48. My 22 year old son, who is mostly politically ambivalent, doesn't quite know what to make of his mom these days....:)
