The former campaign manager for Gore-Lieberman 2000 offers four critical tips to the Kerry-Edwards campaign
Aug. 28 - Its hard to travel across the country these days without seeing an old familiar bumper sticker: Somewhere in Texas, a village is missing its idiot. Perhaps the slogan rang true for many progressive voters in this highly partisan, highly charged and highly polarized electorate. But, if the bumper-sticker crowd believes it refers to George W. Bush, they are sorely mistaken.
Sen. John Kerry can win this election by understanding that he is running against a shrewd, clever and an extremely intelligent opponent who was trained in political combat by the late GOP strategist Lee Atwater.

If you have one bumper sticker on your car it means you have an opinion.
If you have 2 it means you're an activist.
3 or more means you have a mental disorder.
Let's consider the advice Donna (its somehow apopros the campaign manager of a losing campaign should even condign to offer advice on winning) Brazile offers Campaign Kerry for beating Bush: 1) Message Matters - only this is a campaign WITHOUT a message and if its has one its about Vietnam and if its a negative one its Hate Bush; 2) Minimize Mistakes - every time Kerry opens his mouth about Vietnam he makes another mistake and his campaign is full of others; 3) Debates - well its hard to take seriously a guy who can't even level with the country about Vietnam. There are three not four pieces of advice Brazile offers and Kerry gets an "F" on every one of them. When all is said and done let's face it, a thin-skinned elitist snob is not one to take advice, he's there to tell others "I am better than you." Quite a formula for a winning candidate. I am already looking forward to comparing notes with Ms. Brazile in November.
kinda hard to feel, look, and act like a winner when you're John F'in' Kerry.....
"Don't approach these crucial presidential debates like they are a Harvard-Yale Society debate. This will serve as Kerrys chance to show voters who he is as a person. They will want to be comfortable with him."
And they are probably going to be coaching him lots prior to this debate cycle. He has all the charisma of Herman Munster.
I dispise Brazile. I can't stand the woman. She pulled the race and ethnic hate card and for that she cannot be forgiven.
As far as the truth about his service, well the truth hurts and there is more of it going to come out.
Donna Brazile. Just another on the long list of Democrat kool-aid drinkers and one big POS.
If Donna counldn't beat him the first time around, isn't taking advice from her sorta like getting winning advice from a losing football coach?
Quote of the day!
Don'tcha love the way Brazile calls libs "progressives"? She gives the kind of advice that boils down to "For Christ's sake, don't let them know who you really are, Jean-Francois!!!!"
soon to be joined by Mary Beth Cahill
What a joke. The Crats are still trying to define Kerry. Bush is going to ram Kerry's record (you were aware Kerry is a Senator?) down his throat and thus define him as he really is.
Brazille can't admit that when it comes to the Dems, there is no "there" there.
"Kerry must come across like a next-door neighbor who is respected on the block."
Wasn't there an article posted on how Kerry's neighbors despised him because he was a pompous a$$ who had a habit of saying, "Do you know who I am?"
Put in place events? Let's see...
WE lost? LOL. Who says there's a media bias?
I almost missed this sentence by Brazile- "he(Kerry) is running against a shrewd, clever and an extremely intelligent opponent who was trained in political combat"
Goodness. I thought W was stoopit. Alec Baldwin told me so.
Too late, between Bush's ads on kerry and the Swifties....he is already defined...........
The funny thing is most of these neo-Marxists don't even know where the term comes from. In Marxist-Leninist ideology "progressives" were people who were not communists themselves, but helped society's "progress" towards the inevitable communist victory at a given point in history. Communists were encouraged to make common fronts with "progressives" as long as they shared opposition to the government. Once the government was overthrown the front was disolved, and the "progressives" who were no longer aiding in progress toward communism became counter-revolutionaries to be re-educated or disposed of. Lenin's other term for "progressives" was "useful idiots".
Whenever he showed up at the Beacon Hill grocery store he would say that as he cut in line with his order of goat cheese and Grey Poupon.
Forget the fricken article, check out that big old bald spot on Gore. I had no idea.....
