Hey, I just found this game yesterday. It's a simulation where you can run your own campaign. You can take out ads in print/tv/radio, give speeches on different topics to gain support (affirmative action, homeland security, WOT, taxes, illegal immigration are just a few), hire political operatives to do your dirty work, get endorsements from NRA/Christian Coalition/etc. There's even a multiplayer mode where you can play against others online.
This is for those of you who just can't get enough of politics and want to run your own campaign. It's fun, try it!
bttt
Is there a mode where the campaign implodes and HiLIARy takes over?
Bump
LOL, no....
It's really fun to go negative though. I use a two part strategy-- I'll go to a state and give a speech saying Bush supports the WOT. Then I take out an ad in the same state saying that my opponent opposes the WOT.
You can select her as your opponent though. You can even run as Ah-nold or Condi (or pick them for your VP).
I've been playing it... you know, it's remarkably easy to beat John Kerry while playing as GWB!
The key to the game seems to be a combination of putting distance between yourself and your opponent on an issue, and getting that issue to the top of the concerns list in contested states. Also I've found that one early radio ad can be remarkably effective. Less contested states can be locked up simply by creating more awareness than your opponent; rather than spending resources on manipulating the issues in each of the small states, just get more of your side informed and out to vote.
The best presidential campaign sim ever made is President Elect...
