IN A CLINK STINK
By DAREH GREGORIAN
Welcome to New York.
Two protesters arrested for unfurling a Bush-bashing banner at The Plaza say they were mugged and manhandled during their harrowing overnight imprisonment in the bowels of Manhattan Supreme Court.
"We were robbed and I was assaulted," Cesar Maxit, 28, said of his and David Murphy's night in the holding cells of 100 Centre St. "They wouldn't even leave us 50 cents to make a phone call." ---Snip---
Murphy said he was fine rappelling down The Plaza but frightened in jail.
"I was really scared," said the Manhattan trapeze-school teacher. He said a group of "three or four" prisoners demanded their money taking his $6.50 and Maxit's $10. "My life was threatened," Murphy said.
Both, however, said they would do it all again.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time!
What's the problem? I thought the Bush haters loved it when the disenfranchised take money from people who have it.
Jail isn't supposed to be fun, dude!
Gee, I feel really bad about this poor fellas confinement.
Trapeze-school teacher? Please tell me this is a private school and not part of the public school curriculum.
The Manhattan Trapeze school is on a pier on the Hudson River near the Tribeca neighborhood in lower Manhattan. It's private.
I remember a thread where we were all predicting these guys would tell of their harrowing plight
These people are, technically, facing 25 years in prison. Their fun may be just beginning!
Wait a minute...They say that prisoners in jail demanded their money??? Not in any jail I know of....they take your belongings and keep them at the booking area tagged with your name and info....precisely so theft doesn't happen...These guys are lying loons...Send em all to Najaf and let em protest there

I hope they end up in Sing Sing for about two years each.
Those hippie commie b@stards asked for it.
Remember. It takes a strong man to cry....It takes an Even Stronger Man to stand there and laugh at that man.
While those hippies are crying about having their commie heads beat in...I'll be laughing.
"Murphy said he was fine rappelling down The Plaza but frightened in jail. "
Hey Murph, guess that hippie liberal protest crap is not so fun when your faced with becoming bubba's b!tch.
That is the best part of all this.
Many of these protesting little snots come from elitist lefty families. They claim to be against the rich...while they are hanging out in the Hamptons.
SOOOO, when these little snots start getting busted and thrown in the can.....they will be dealing with a special sort of h3ll. They will meet some real anti establishment folks.
Remember that movie...Trading Places? Remember how Louie looked when he came out of the tank?
I still remember hard hats chasing hippies out of Times Square. We watched and cheered!
I can't wait until things really get going during the convention.
Let the whining commence!
Also, that blonde chick looks like she might be an easy lay-if I could get her away from her dweeb boyfriend...
I was thinking the same thing, Rebel.
She probably has never had a real man.
The guy she is with is meterosexual and a half.
I hope the next time he goes out to start trouble...the police hit him with that bats and knock him clean out of
his Cole Haans
If they are willing to do it all over again, they didn't learn much the first time. Crime demands punishment.
And, liberals call Bush supports stupid!
Ah sick and twisted minds are melded together and always in sync....Spoiled little rich kids find out the truth about life....bwahahahahahhaha
What the dealio? I thought the plan was to ice these guys once they were arrested, let them sit in stir for as long as poosible. No bail? Is that friggin' idiot Bloomberg gonna play 'catch and release' with the Black Blockers and the Spartacus Youth League? If so, it's gonna be the longest week in history. What a clymer.
If you can't do the time, don't do the crime!
