Jim Warner will never forget when he first heard of John Kerry. It was May of 1971, and Warner was a Marine first lieutenant suffering in solitary confinement in North Vietnam's infamous Skid Row punishment camp.
Since his F-4 fighter had been shot down three and a half years earlier, Warner had been tortured and interrogated regularly by his captors.
One morning--Warner thinks it was a Saturday--he was subjected to an unusually long three-hour interrogation, during which they made him read the typewritten transcript of a statement by a U.S. Navy officer, who was Vietnam veteran, speaking in the United States. The speech included a litany of American war atrocities against the Vietnamese and advocated an immediate and unilateral withdrawal from Vietnam.

This guy is a sick man, worse than slick willy. Lets make sure he does not get elected.
Yes, but I'll bet they don't have ONE SINGLE DOCUMENT to prove it.
(That is how the Kerry press office (ABC/CBS/NBC) will answer this)
"Never challenge 'worse.' " - Bill Cosby
Kerry's problem: If he does not specifically answer all of these charges, rather than just attack the critics, he loses credibility. But if he does answer them, the critics will respond, and he will get into a no-win debate with them.
Bush's problem: Kerry would be in a deeper hole if someone asked him the key questions directly. But the press won't ask them, and the Bush people cannot.
The official DoD de-briefs from the POWs may corraborate this. Hopefully Sandy Berger isn't lurking anywhere near the Federal Archives.
bump for later
I believe this will be used by the StolenValor group.

There is an arguement that is used in defense of Kerry that I find abominable. It's the charge that 'taking Kerry to task is an insult to all veterans.' One that even tops that for me, is that "taking Kerry to task on the issue of his purple hearts is an insult to all veterans who were awarded the purple heart.'
On the issue of taking a member of the military to task over the awarding of Purple Hearts to them, I do consider it a solemn event. No one should do this lightly. But if taking a person to task is warranted, then it should be done by men who stand as equals with the person charged.
Combat veterans who served with that person are precisely the right persons who should challenge him on it. Today a group of men have come forward to do so regarding a man for whom they have first hand information.
This challenge not only doesn't insult other veterans, it helps ensure that when they win medals, those medals stand for precisely what they should. If any yahoo can trump up qualifications and obtain Purple Hearts, then Purple Hearts mean nothing. Valid charges brought against a person known to have done this, protect the solemn status of the Purple Hearts.
Further those challenges are the only insurance this nation's citizens have, that some yahoo can't obtain Purple Hearts without just cause, then claim to be something they are not.
The next to the last thing I ever want to see is a veteran be taken to task for a valiantly won Purple Heart. The last thing I want to see is someone who lied about his qualifications to obtain a Purple Heart, claim war hero status in his quest for the most honorable position our nation has to offer.
Today we have solumn charges on the table. Those charges merit solumn consideration. They do not merit using known valiant Purple Heart winners as cover from the truth of the matter. If that were the case, then that would be as vile an act as the original perpetration of the fraud that obtained those medals without merit.
Everyone should settle down, read the full story of the charges and make up their own minds. The media should quit trying to damn the 247 messengers to protect the indefensible. Those messengers are not running for the position of the Presidency of the United States.
The media, the defenders of a person being charged and a political party are the ones walking on the veterans who have legitimately won Purple Hearts, to trash people who just may be doing this nation a very valuable service.
If John Kerry is a fraud, he and his minions are pulling that fraud at the expense of some very righteous men. If John is the man he always said he was, the truth will win this victory for him. If not, so much the better.
I wasn't necessarily disappointed in Jane Fonda," said Collins. "I didn't know her background, but I figured she's just some airhead Hollywood actress--so what? But then along comes this military officer. My first reaction was, this is a fake. But it wasn't a fake. This guy is a traitor. I'm very disappointed in that. . . . I expected more out of a Navy lieutenant. That's why I was so demoralized. It was far worse for him to do it."
It's time for another, and larger, contribution to the Swifties.

Then report back.
Do you suppose THIS is what Kerry is trying to keep the public from finding out?
My parents, grandparents, and great grandparents were all Democrats. If they were alive today they would recoil in disgust--like all decent people everywhere do--and disavow and repudiate the Democrat Party immediately and in no uncertain terms.
My children are all Republicans.
And, the media thinks it's going to go away.
I truly believe the ones who will sink this a$$hole will be the POWs....I know several of them: Ken Cordier (yep in the second ad), Bud Day (medal of honor winner), Keith Hall, and then there's one that I absolutely cannot remember his name but he's the one who "made" the flag out of threads and waved it upon landing in Hawaii....I have a close friend who was the pilot of the first plane bringing them out of NVN....i cried then and i cry now thinking of what they went through which was only made worse by Ms Fonda and Mr Fonda (oops, I mean F'ing Kerry)....
