AH, REUTERS [Ramesh Ponnuru]
Doug Johnson, legislative director of the National Right to Life Committee, sent out a press release on the latest partial-birth ruling. Here's an email he got in response from Todd Eastham, the North American news editor for Reuters:
"What's your plan for parenting & educating all the unwanted children you people want to bring into the world? Who will pay for policing our streets & maintaining the prisons needed to contain them when you, their parents & the system fail them? Oh, sorry. All that money has been earmarked to pay off the Bush deficit. Give me a frigging break, will you?"
Sounds like a Kerry shill. Boy, they really don't bother to hide the bias any more. (laughing)
You'll find this interesting!
And how can we all email Toddy-boy with our opinions of his email to the NRLC???
Reuters is probably going to throw a party with punch and pie if we reach the 1,000 casualty mark in the WOT.
God, how I loathe them.

Close, but they haven't even begun to sink to their lowest depths... that'll be seen when Bush wins reelection.
*whistle* Talk about transparent Leftist bias. And they wonder why we consider them biased?
Murder for hire.
The "who will pay for policing our streets & maintaining the prisons" line sounds a tad bit racist to me.
More proof that the left is becoming unhinged!
It would be interesting to hear this guy's response to the charge that the MSM is liberal.
No kidding.. and there wouldn't be any unwanted births if men and women would just take responsibility and admit to themselves that engaging in sex results in pregnancy often enough that protecting themselves from that result should be a priority.
Voila... 99% of the problem solved.
Rape kits include a contraceptive that prevents implantation, from what I've been told, so women who have been raped have to be educated and encouraged to go to a hospital and take care of it. In other words, and I know this is harsh, but while the rape is not their fault... the pregnancy might be because an alternative prevention is available to them.
Do abortion clinics offer rape kits? You know, for women you don't want to involve the police? If they don't, if they want to be consistent with their mission, they should.
Either way, eliminate the need for abortions, and it is mission accomplished. In the mean time, outlaw partial birth abortion because it makes almost no medically recognized difference to the women, and makes all the difference in the world the baby. How hard is that to understand for those pro-choicers?
They're losing it and lashing out. The real polls must not look good for them.
This is too good to be true!
If Rove can not find surrogates to beat the press with this club he ought to quit.
I guess he thinks his position is okay because it doesn't limit the killing to an identified race.
Ah, the spirit of Thatcher lives! My favorite quote of hers:
"The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples' money."
I've got to admit--that's a tough one!
