AH, REUTERS [Ramesh Ponnuru]
Doug Johnson, legislative director of the National Right to Life Committee, sent out a press release on the latest partial-birth ruling. Here's an email he got in response from Todd Eastham, the North American news editor for Reuters:
"What's your plan for parenting & educating all the unwanted children you people want to bring into the world? Who will pay for policing our streets & maintaining the prisons needed to contain them when you, their parents & the system fail them? Oh, sorry. All that money has been earmarked to pay off the Bush deficit. Give me a frigging break, will you?"

Thanks for the ping.
I sent this one out to all on my "Alert List."
I'm not surprised that someone who feels this way would eventually explode. Can you imagine how many lies he has to tell himself each hour to maintain his belief/world view?
Something's got to blow with that much energy under the surface.
I'll pray for him to find peace - this episode might just be the one that causes him to find the real answer to life and love.

I thought I would help Reuters out a little and design a new logo that more accurately reflects their Company Mission.

"What's your plan for parenting & educating all the unwanted children you people want to bring into the world? Who will pay for policing our streets & maintaining the prisons needed to contain them when you, their parents & the system fail them?Easy questions to answer...
Well on the first question, we'll continue to follow the same plan that is already in place.
And on the second question, see the first answer, namely continuing the taxation of the same people who are currently paying for the parenting, educating, policing and maintaining the prisons in a system despite that fact that it has already been proven to be failing.
As a liberal you would think he would already know this. Hasn't he been paying attention to the last 60-80 years?
Was I too smart alecky? Should I tune it down a bit?

"What's your plan for parenting & educating all the unwanted children you people want to bring into the world? Seems this should be directed to those would be mothers and fathers who are not being responsible.

Wow, I wonder how these staunch defenders of abortions would feel, when their children decide to perform euthanasia once they're old.

The question here isn't "What will be done with all the unwanted children?".
The question SHOULD be - "Why are these children unwanted in the first place?"
Selfish, "me-first", liberal shitheels like this jag-off are a good place to start that line of questioning.
Seriously, when did having children turn from a blessing to a curse in this country? Where and when did that exactly change? It's sad.

"...unwanted children.."Does this person know how life begins? If the children are so "unwanted" then how about keeping 'it' ZIPPED UP or getting fixed so you don't further contaminate the gene pool with that "logic".

"The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples' money." That would make a great bumper sticker -- only it should read, "The problem with LIBERALISM is that eventually you run out of other peoples' money."

If Rove can not find surrogates to beat the press with this club he ought to quit.He won't. Rove treats the media like he treats the Mexican government -- he doesn't want to get them riled.
I have a fantasy about speaking at the RNC Convention in prime time, and asking everyone in the Garden to turn to the booth for CBS News, asking them to fully extend their arms and point their fingers at, say, Dan Rather, and read off some of the biased remarks he's made during the past four years. Then turn to the ABC News booth, giving Peter Jennings the same treatment, then Tom Brokaw, Aaron Brown, and whoever does the job for PBS (Charlie Rose? Gwen Ifill? Bill Moyers?).
I then would challenge all of them to be more equitable in their coverage of conservative points-of-view, beginning with the way they covered my speech, which -- I would remind them -- millions of people saw live, making it impossible for them to spin it.

Send a letter back to Doug, saying, "So, Doug, what you are really saying is what are we going to do with all of those extra brown and black babies born to poor brown and black mothers is abortion isn't available to them, right?" Note the absence of concern over women't rights.

Sounds chillingly like this "humanitarian" from Reuters has the same solution for the unborn as Hitler did for the Jews. And scapegoating the unborn, too, like the Jews! Very good, very good indeed.

Personally my favorite is MSM control thru retroactive abortion! Hehe...It's always a good idea to make liberals play by their own rules! :-)

Psalm 139:13-16 For thou hast possessed my reins:
thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee;
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well.
My substance was not hid from thee,
when I was made in secret,
and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect;
and in thy book all my members were written,
which in continuance were fashioned,
when as yet there was none of them.
