Not what we need just before the convention.

In Boston, the left is quite capable of bombing themselves to try to drum up some sympathy votes.
Oh, and have you ever noticed that PETA never sides against stem cell research?!

A bit off subject, but when did "a person of interest" replace the word "suspect"?
Is this more PC crap?

Not what we need just before the convention. Never discount the possibility of the rats pulling this themselves.
It was in Boston after all.

Were they using animals in the testing?

According to the company's Web site:
"Amaranth Technology is focused on enabling the regenerative potential of adult human cells."

Were they using animals in the testing? Not sure, but almost certainly not. Most stem cell labs use stem cells from frozen human embryos and various other sources, none of them animals.

Never discount the possibility of the rats pulling this themselves. It was in Boston after all.Could be, I'm reserving judgement until the police have had more time to investigate.
To: Zeroisanumber
They could be using animals to test whatever they are doing with the stem cells, like they did for the parkinson's study. I believe that they tested that on animals and found it didn't work.

If it is, they went after the wrong target. Again, from the company's Web site:
"...harness the native processes of regeneration to produce enough therapeutic cells and tissues to treat thousands from one adult human donor."

Is this more PC crap?
The side effect of PC is public language that is so vague as to be virtually meaningless.

I wouldn't put it past a couple of liberals who want to blame right wing fanaticism for everything... by inventing it when it would least benefit us.
