OREGON CITY - There's more trouble today for Clackamas County prosecutor Al French. He's the Vietnam veteran who called John Kerry a liar in a political commercial, then admitted that he had never witnessed Kerry in combat.

Now, The Oregonian reports that he's been put on a 30-day paid leave.

That's because he may have lied about a long-ago extramarital affair with a secretary.

French's former boss says French was asked about the alleged affair 10 years ago, but denied it.......

Heard this morning Kerry's operatives were digging up dirt on an Vet that speaks against him. Is this not a prime example?

Seems to me there'd be a statute of limitations for being able to discipline someone for something that occurred 10 years ago. French might just have a case against them.

Most government employers have a specific period of time in which they can charge employees with misdeeds.

Here's the point: Bringing down the SwiftBoat Vets is NOT going to bring UP John Kerry.

Smearing them will not UNsmear JF'nK. It's a desperation tactic, and could REALLY backfire if it gives the opportunity to say 'Kerry stabs vets in the back AGAIN.'

Well, it is interesting to see that Carville and some of the Clinton White House sewer dwellers are still on the payroll! Like Kerry said, the Viet Cong are the good guys and American swervicemen are evil!

Speaking from current firsthand information, Portland is not the friendliest of towns to Republicans. And irregardless of Al Frenchs political orientation, the fact that he dared to attack the Rats Headliner(what is his name again?) labels him as the enemy.
The Swiftees are showing the courage and character they possess by standing tall. JFK is hurting. Do not let up.
P.S. My Bush/Cheney bumper sticker got defaced a couple weeks ago at Lloyd Center.

Kerry reminds me more and more of the sniveling, vicious, coasting on political connections Percy Wetmore from The Green Mile...

Only when you're the 42nd President of the United States.

You got to ask why the issue of a 10 year old affair is surfacing NOW? Was this recently being looked into before the Swift ad?

Nobody's business whether this man got his beak watered 10 years ago. It is not like he was the President of the United States!

(Northern) NJ FREEPERS

If you live anywhere near Wayne (Passaic County) and you have not yet been able to find a copy of the "Unfit for Command" book...go to the Wayne Hills Mall (fka "Meyer Brothers Mall"). There is a Waldon Books store there that has a bunch of copies of this book. I bought mine tonight ($27.00).
