Bill Maher returns with a new edition Friday at 11 pm. Bill's guests this week: reporter Ashleigh Banfield, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher and author Michael Eric Dyson. Plus, author and Swift Boat veteran John E. O'Neill, talk show host Chris Matthews and Brig. Gen. Janis Karpinski via satellite.
As the Campaign of 2004 heats up, Bill Maher and his guests examine "527" ads, Vice President Cheney's stand on gay marriage, toxic fish, "eugenics" as a campaign platform, and the church's involvement in politics.
Ack! The man is made of tougher stuff than I.
What, no Donna Brazile? Sheesh, O'Neil can't enter a more biased arena than this.
God Speed, Mr O'Neil.
I will never watch Bill Maher again.
Good luck to John O'Neill but I don't think he is going to reach anyone here.
Nothing like stck'n the deck.
AMBUSH!!! O'Neill is an idiot for doing this.
The worst thing about Bill Maher are the spoiled, brainwashed late gen-X and Gen Y'ers (20-30 year olds) in his audience.
"I will never watch Bill Maher again."
Ditto. Besides, it'll be a hatchet job. I hope O'Neill knows what he's doing.
O'Neill better come on with BIG boxing gloves because between Bill WAAAAAA and Chris (Spittoon) Matthews they will be ganging up on his to support their guy Kerry.
O'Neill is a trial lawyer. I don't think he can win this one, but he will retain his dignity.
I have only the highest regard for O'Neill and I believe he will sail right through this program.
Number one in law school, Supreme Court Clerk, this guy is smarter than Kerry and he is of unalloyed integrity. Withal, he is unassuming and comes off as a regular, earnest guy trying to do right by his vets and his country.
The more obnoxious these libs get, the more O'Neill appears to advantage.
The only thing is these Dems (especially Matthews) never let anyone speak without trying to shout them down. Matthews gets tooo obnoxious and takes it peresonally when he talks about the Swift Boats. You would think that the Swifties were talking about him and not Kerry. He's such an idiot and looks like a fool when he does that.
Exactly.
I hope crissy asked max cleland what the term "SELF-INFLICTED-WOUND" means, otherwise crissy will have a "Michelle flashback"....at O'Neill's expense...
Yes, he'll do well. He may not be allowed to speak but that can be turned to his advantage as it was with Lanny and Carville.
I used to watch this show when it first premiered. It was okay but rapidly declined into a Leftist free for all against anyone that was in opposition.
The people that still watch this show are a niche audience motivated by their hatred for G.W. but even they can be thrown off center when they witness a person of character respond calmly to the truth.
O'Neill vs. Maher, hmmm...
