I don't understand your point. Was Robert Reid travelling under his own name? Who knows? Probably not. All the passenger manifest shows is who the tickets where purchased by or whose passport they were under. False passports are these guys trade documents.

By the way, "Nguyen" (with a g) is an extremely common Vietnamese name; it's like Smith here, only much more common. If you go through a list of people and find someone named Nguyen, it really doesn't suggest any connection at all with Kathy Nguyen, because there is such a large number of Nguyens. It just means there's a Vietnamese person on your list.

I think if you take any random list of Vietnamese, you'll probably find that maybe 1/4 of them or so are named Nguyen. For example, I found (through a quick search for any organization of Vietnamese, there's no particular reason for choosing this one) the Vietnamese Professional Society. Three of the 12 members of its Board of Directors are named Nguyen. Link: Vietnamese Professional Society Board of Directors.

I don't remember the full story. It was on one of the old ongoing 'Nuygen anthrax' threads etc. As I remember,....it was a weird, small, informal, prayer/study/social group.........calling itself a church.....maybe just another NYC cult.......

False papers. You remember the DC Snipers? The older one was perhaps involved in some such false papers operation -- iirc -- that was out of the Domincan Republic.

The papers could have even been legitimate. In that case, one of the singleton passengers would have been researched -- one who looked like the Tunisian, and killed before the flight, his passport, etc taken.

Thanks. I dug up a reference to Kathy Nguyen attending Mass at St. John Chrysostom Church regularly; this was in the Latino (I think predominantly Puerto Rican) neighborhood where she lived.

I didn't find anything mentioning a prayer/study/social group though.
