His mediocre record in the Senate, where no major legislation bears his name despite a twenty year career, left him a blank slate as far as the national electorate was concerned.

Other than twice marrying rich women, just what HAS he done right?

Good post.

However, with regards to the box. Are you sure he built it or is it the "black box" Gore spoke about so much in the 2000 election?

Yes it is! And the Kerry mob will be trying to do everything they can to keep the attention off of Kerry's documented Senate record. I expect some "event" during the RNC, to put focus on Kerry, and off the RNC. But I do not see how that could be good for Kerry. Kerry is damaged goods, to say the least.

And he just keeps making it worse. I still say the Clintoni family is just salivating over this bafoon's self-destruction....it would also not suprise me to see another "Kerry skeleton" randomly fall out of the closet over the next 60 days....remember Billary does not want Kerry to win -- no way.

"I spent more time on John Kerry's boat than any other crewmember.

John Kerry hasn't been honest - he has been deceitful.

John Kerry claims that he spent Christmas, in 1968, in Cambodia.

And that is catagorically a lie. Not in December. Not in January.

We were never in Cambodia on a secret mission. Ever."

Ramsey Clark to Join Panel for Saddam’s Defense

arabnews press release 25 August 2004

NOTE :
Ramsey Clark is pictured below with Kerry and
Vietnam phony vet Al Hubbard
Who was head of the
Vietnam Veterans Against the War movement.

Al Hubbard Sgt., 22 Troop Carrier Squadron Aug. ’65-June ’66
- Al Hubbard, proven fraud who never set foot in Viet Nam.
The only Vietnamese he ever met was
when he was collaborating with the North Vietnamese in Paris
on the American Communist Party's nickel.

John Kerry's explanation:
"He (Hubbard) simply exaggarated his particular position.
But nobody knew it at the time. And those things happen."

All that an uncommitted voter can conclude from the Swifty controversy is that if al Quada attacks America during a Kerry presidency, his only response will be: "France, please make them stop!!! Waaaaa!"

The public will swing over to Kerry's side once he is properly introduced to them in the debates. (JFngK V3.7)

Don't snicker. MSM will say this.

The Dims and the MSM will stick with Kerry until the first debate and will dump him if he doesn't whip W (which he won't). That presents an interesting strategery for Bush; if he finishes Kerry off too soon, he may be facing a replacement opponent. Danger.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: The fact that Kerry hasn't authored any major legislation in his entire 20 years as a senator says one thing loudly. It says: I am not a leader; I am a follower.

There may be time enough for him to rescue his image. But it would take bold action, including a no-holds-barred press conference, exhaustively confronting the charges against him.

Or he can eat a corn dog with ketchup while standing on the Frozen Tundra of Lambert Field.

"But the problem with toughing it out is that he reinforces the notion that he can’t directly take on his enemies."

Kerry's enemies are the American People!

Don't worry -- he may earn a Purple Heart FALLING out of the box. LOl!

Note the reference to Kerry's way of handling things in prior races "in the realm of Massachusetts politic", -- where he appeared as a Kennedy-esque, Irish-esque, liberal intellectual right-thinking politician.

When I was in Massachusetts recently, people made the point that "Kerry is always a last minute "come from behind" guy.

What I pointed out was that all his prior races have been in Massachusetts, a rather rarified environment not representative of the country as a whole. If Kerry expected that what works in Massachusetts will work on a national level, his expectations were probably unreasonable

***Pretending that a threat doesn’t exist, denouncing it, claiming it is unfair, and trying to make it go away without directly confronting it, won’t work with al Qaeda. The public wants a strong leader who will take on and destroy those who would destroy us. John Kerry’s response to his political threat is exactly the wrong approach to use against a terror threat. He has defined himself negatively, in terms of the biggest issue facing Americans.***

Bump!

Kerry is in a box. He built it for himself. But he is so far unable to climb out. Unless he changes course promptly, he may not be able to recover. The clock is ticking.

I honestly believe that the democratic party (McAullife, Clinton, Kennedy, and others knew full well of the baggage that Kerry brought to this campaign. They surely couldn't be so ignorant to ignore the fact that his performance in the Senate was lackluster, that he protested the Viet Nam war alongside Jane Fonda, that he was a high ranking member of the VVAW, that he threw his medals over the fence, that his shortened stay in Viet Nam would surely bring high scrutiny? They (the dems) knew full well when they had their liberal media paint Dean as a screaming lunatic in Iowa, that Kerry would ultimately be the nominee of their party. And now, they seem to be very quiet as Kerry squirms to stay afloat. Nice gambit to throw away this knave rook to protect the queen!!!!!!!!!
