Online Petition - Tell Kerry to Sign SF180
ReleaseThem ^ | 8/27/04 | Richard Viguerie

Posted on 08/27/2004 7:45:48 AM PDT by Ritwngr

A very simple petition that you can sign, asking Kerry to turn over those records and put this behind us. Click here to do so

-------

Dear Senator Kerry

Please, for the sake of all Americans release all records relating to the allegations made by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth (SBV) so that this election - and our country - can focus on the other important national and international issues at this critical time.

Only you can put an end to this distraction.

It is apparent that this story won?t go away no matter how you choose to fight it unless you release your records. That should include all your military and medical records from Vietnam. You can release all of them by signing one simple form, Standard Form 180.

I am saddened, as a patriotic American, by the bitterness that has consumed the parties, the press and the various independent groups and it is prudent that these allegations be viewed with skepticism.

I understand that politics can be mean-spirited at times, and people should not take these allegations made by the SBVs as the truth without evidence.

But you can also end this controversy now by releasing your records - all of them - and clarifying for America who is telling the truth.

If you know the allegations to be true, as a fellow patriotic American, I implore you to withdraw from the race now so that another Democrat candidate may fill your shoes in this election.

Please, end the controversy by addressing the merits now.

Isn't 180 Kerry's favorite number anyway?

WORTHLESS ... online petitions are ... it is just too easy ... not to mention the possibility of the SPAM sign-up aspect

Better to send a hand-written letter (even if you have arthritis ;-) to the Kerry Campaign, both your Senators, your congresssman, and the local news outlets.

Please enclose a copy of the SF-180 in those letters

You know he is not going to do this....and the request, put forward when the Swiftboat Vets came on the scene, was turned down. Kerry won't answer questions. He goes on a comedy TV show which makes fun of the issue...smart, Kerry, smart. Americans have now heard John Kerry's words when he came home from Vietnam and called them war criminals. He made this the pillar of his campaign. He trashed two and a half million vets who served in Nam....that doesn't wash out easily. Voting Americans don't take kindly to this when the men Kerry trashes are out there in harms way TODAY...check out the polls.
